Product Audiologist

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Product Audiologist ( Malaysia) to join the team at our Representative Services Sonova Singapore, Singapore. This role blends clinical expertise with commerical acumen, focusing on training, product applications, market survelliance, and supporting the Company's strategic initatives mainly in Malaysia and other Asia regions.

You will be responsible for:

 

Training & Education
•    Design and deliver comprehensive & engaging training sessions for distributors/ customers, audiology/ sales teams, and clients on product features,  fitting software & techniques, and clinical applications.
•    Develop & refine training materials, including user guides, presentations, and e-learning content.
•    Organize workshops, seminars/ webinars, and hands-on sessions to enhance product knowledge and usage.
•    Participates, represent and presents at professional conference and seminars on hearing aids, Audiology trade shows, conventions, events and other related topics.
•    Provide continuous client-facing support & engagements in all aspects.
 

Product Support & Development
•    Collaborate with the product development team by providing audiological input and feedbacks from distributors/customers to Product Managers to evaluate, improve and refine product designs and features based on needs of clinicians and end users.
•    Perform field testing of products and software, providing detailed feedback on performance and usability.
•    Stay updated on advancements in audiology and hearing care technologies to inform product innovation and share insights with team to drive innovation and competitive advantage.


Regulatory & Compliance Support
•    Support compliance teams in ensuring products meet local and international audiological standards.
•    Provide clinical expertise during audits, regulatory submissions, and certifications.


Commercial Support
•    Participates in active planning and proposal of sales & marketing activities with Sonova distributors.
•    Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide audiological expertise during strategic client meetings, product launches, and promotional activities and align audiological expertise with commercial goals..
•    Support marketing initiatives, including product promotions, campaigns, including seamless roll out projects, events and product launches.
•    Offer tailored product recommendations based on client needs, market demands, and audiological insights.
•    Assist in preparing and reviewing marketing materials to ensure accuracy and clinical relevance.
•    Participates in audiological consultations, tailoring fitting advice and recommendations directly to Sonova distributors to meet specific needs and market demands.
•    Identity opportunities and develop strategies and new business projects to expand Sonova market share and brand engagement

 

Market Insights & Feedback
•    Monitor & analyse market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
•    Gather and analyze user experiences to provide actionable recommendations for product refinement and market positioning.
•    Serve as a conduit between clients and internal teams, offering insights that shape product development and innovation. 
•    Collaborate effectively with distributors/ customers to drive sales initiatives, adoption, brand awareness, availability & visibility while leveraging on market expertise and insights
 

You will need:

 

  • Degree in Audiology/ Master of Science (Audiology) or Equivalent.

  • Licensed/Registered Audiologist in Malaysia 

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience working,  proficient in using hearing aid fitting software, diagnostics tools and audiological equipments. 

  • Experience in Training, Product recommendations, or commerical role is highly desirable.

  • Have a deep understanding of the Malaysia Market, different hearing instruments & competitive landscape.

  • Experience with local tender is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including being comfortable presenting to small and large audiences.

  • Highly motivated and Independent.

  • Able to meet tight datelines

  • Travelling will be required but this will only happen when it’s safe. Safety always come first.
