Service Engineer and Audiology

This role supports Audiologists in providing high-quality hearing care to patients of all ages. It includes providing Technical and Educational support to our customers across Singapore, liaising directly with SOCV production team and our Singapore customers to deliver quality products to our end-users, and ensuring that our products are registered on a timely manner with HSA (Singapore).
Roles and Responsibilities
• Handle and manage all troubleshooting queries, support Audiologists to manage hospital/private clients on related product technical issues, solving and understanding of end-users’ service and repair needs (follow-up). This includes internal communication with SOCV production team using Sales Force.
• Ensure product quality is checked and tested on outgoing hearing instruments.
• Product homologation and/or registration.
• Develop, refine and continuous improvement on process for product quality improvement and smooth workflow. Maintain overall quality standards and Phonak procedures.
• Ensure Phonak Target Software is updated for our hospital customers.
• Provide FM fitting to children in school, training to parents and teachers
in line with MOE Tender.
• Provide technical and troubleshooting training for hearing and Roger devices to Phonak customers.
• Maintain and ensure calibration of audiometric equipment, assisting with hearing aid repairs.
• Assist with ear mold impressions and liaise with internal stakeholders on customer requirements on custom-made earpiece ordered.
This role is 100% onsite due to operational needs.
What we look for:
- Diploma or Advance Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related Engineering Diploma. and BSc Degree in Audiology (Good to have)
- Prior experience in audiology or related hearing instrument industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills within local language (reading, writing, and conversational)
- Willing to learn new things and is a good teammate.
- Experience in customer support.
