Business Controller – Nordic
Location: Solna Business Park, Stockholm
Working Model: Hybrid
Occasional travel within the Nordic region is required (1–10 days per year).
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and agile Business Controller to join our Nordic Finance team.
In this role, you act as a trusted finance partner to Sales & Marketing leadership roles across the Nordic region. You will play a key role in driving performance, providing financial insights, and supporting decision-making through high-quality reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The position reports to the Director Finance Nordic.
Operating in an international matrix environment, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders on both local and Nordic levels, contributing to a data-driven and forward-looking organization.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you will drive high-quality management reporting, forecasting and scenario analysis to support sustainable profitability. You will translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights and act as a key partner to Sales & Marketing on P&L, profitability and growth initiatives.
You will lead and continuously improve the sales budgeting and forecasting process, including supporting tools, while monitoring and analysing pricing, margins and rebate structures. You will also support tenders, contract negotiations and broader commercial decision-making, as well as deliver insights and analysis for business cases.
In addition, you will develop and enhance reporting frameworks and dashboards, and contribute to more effective and data-driven ways of working, including leveraging new tools and technologies where relevant.
Your Profile
You combine strong analytical capabilities with a genuine commercial mindset and the ability to influence decision-making.
You bring:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Solid experience in driving and performing commercial or financial analysis to support commercial decision making
- A proven ability to translate data into insights
- Strong systems skills (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Excel)
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Fluency in minimum one Nordic language, if you understand one or two additional this will be helpful but it is not a requirement
Meritorious:
- Experience from M&A, business case evaluation or investment analysis
- Interest in or hands on experience of applying data models or AI tools to improve analysis and decision support
