Director Global Marketing Hearing Aid Solutions

As Director RIC (Receiver-In-Canal) Solutions you are empowered and have overall responsibility for the success of a Solution within wholesale from cradle to grave. This includes product development, launch, in-market steering, and phase-out of products (decision rights for product, price, placement, and promotion of business line). You will deliver successful launches with complete marketing mix responsibility (product, promotion, price, place).

 

Your tasks

 

Business performance

  • Own the product line from cradle to grave on all 4 marketing P dimensions
  • Based on allocated marketing budget and marketing plan, determine resource allocation to campaigns and product launches within the product line
  • Work closely with Group Company (GC) Marketing teams to identify and prioritize improvement levers for business line performance (either through in-market marketing or new product development)
  • Contributing to corporate strategy, marketing strategy, R&D roadmap, and go-to-market strategy development processes through permanent and project-based channels
  • Accountable for driving a successful RIC product line pipeline
  • Drive the innovation process for the product line (Hearing Instruments and related ecosystem)
  • Identify and execute on new growth opportunities (both product and non-product related)
  • Allocation of marketing spend & resources (= marketing mix)
  • In-market management of product line
  • Product launch ownership in close collaboration with GCs

 

General Tasks

  • Design and align overall launch plan including target marketing mix (4 P’s) for entire seasonal launch package 
  • Lead a cross-functional core team to deliver an entire launch with all aspects and with the complete marketing mix responsibility
  • Lead cross-functional campaign creation and execution team in close collaboration with PMs, Brand and Comms, Audiology, Digital Marketing Hub, and third-party service providers (e.g. agencies)
  • Coordinate and ensure that core messages pay into communication strategy
  • Ensure GC teams are fully enabled to execute launch; act as contact point for GC launch-related activities
  • Responsible for success of the initial launch wave in markets, including availability of the products
  • Responsible to monitor and track the progress of the projects

 

Your profile

 

  • Higher university degree in Engineering or Marketing/Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years of Marketing experience with 5 years in Global/Regional Teams
  • Experience in B2B2C Marketing or Business Management is a plus
  • Track record in Business Management for a Product Group / Business Segment with P&L responsibility
  • Experience in P&L Management, Product Development, Lifecycle Management
  • Experienced in developing global value propositions and writing insight based product concepts
  • Commercial and technical/product mindset
  • Market understanding incl. consumer trends, competitive trends
  • Broad range of experience in marketing, sales, and R&D
  • Demonstrated broad range of marketing capabilities, including product definition, positioning, development and in-market management
  • Track record of people leadership and people development capabilities
  • Comfortable working at all levels in crossfunctional/cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Leadership & strategic decision-making, high sense of ownership
  • Self-driven and able to motivate team members to excel
  • Understanding of IT processes (MS Office, SAP)
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German and/or French is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
