Director of Product Line Lyric and ITE Solutions

We are looking for a strategic and visionary leader with a passion for driving product excellence from concept to completion. In this role, you will take full ownership of our Lyric and ITE product lines, managing the entire lifecycle - from product development and launch to market strategy and phase-out. With complete decision-making authority over product, pricing, placement, and promotion, you will play a pivotal role in delivering multifaceted launches while ensuring seamless execution across the entire marketing mix.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Own the full lifecycle of the Lyric and ITE product lines across the 4 Ps of marketing (product, price, placement, promotion), from development through phase-out
  • Allocate marketing budgets and resources for product launches and campaigns, ensuring optimal spend based on strategic priorities and marketing plans
  • Collaborate with local Marketing teams to identify key improvement levers and prioritize initiatives that drive performance, either through new product development or in-market strategies
  • Contribute to corporate, marketing, and go-to-market strategies, as well as the R&D roadmap, through continuous input and project-based initiatives
  • Drive innovation for the product line, identifying and executing new growth opportunities and ensuring alignment with market needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing complex product launches, overseeing every aspect of the launch with responsibility for the complete marketing mix
  • Serve as a key member of the Phonak Leadership Team, actively contributing to business strategy, marketing plans, and overall decision-making processes
  • Oversee P&L responsibility for the product line, controlling costs, monitoring performance, and adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve financial and operational success


Your profile

 

  • University degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field of study
  • Experience in managing a product line with global P&L responsibility, from product definition and development to in-market management and positioning
  • Expertise in creating and executing strategic product plans with a vision for market success
  • Strong business acumen, with a structured approach to setting priorities and driving results
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, fostering collaboration across functions
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
