End User Computing Support
Your role will provide technical support for end-users, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and escalate complex problems. You will ensure smooth IT operations by resolving incidents, maintaining systems, and assisting with basic network and application support.
We are seeking a candidate who can effectively work under pressure, demonstrates strong prioritization skills, is self-motivated with a high level of initiative, and possesses a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute. The ideal candidate will be flexible, precise in task execution, and have a conscientious and detail-oriented approach to work.
We offer full time job in our office in Staefa (only onsite, no home office option).
Your tasks:
- Advise and support users how to use Corporate IT tools, including basic IT instructions for new employees
- Installation, configuration and operation of end user devices such as laptops, desktops, Mac, printers and mobile devices
- Work as part of a broader IT team to improve processes to reduce incidents
- Maintain user profiles and permissions
- Coordinate device repairs through service provider and perform simple in house repairs.
- Support users via ServiceNow ITSM
- Setup training rooms and end user devices for events
- MS Teams meeting room support
- Specialised support for: senior leadership positions in Sonova, production and head office departments
- Liaising with Operational Technology Security COE to ensure that devices in production follows the security directive
Your profile:
- 3+ years of IT user support experience
- Very good knowledge/work experience with technologies:
- Windows 11
- Active Directory
- MacOS / Jamf Knowledge
- Networking skills
- Broad MS Office and standard application knowledge
- Basic knowledge of MS Azure
- MS Server 2022 / DHCP / DNS knowledge
- Hardware knowledge
- Mobile device support
- AudioVisual (AV) support
- Good written and spoken English
