Hardware Verification Engineer - Charging Solutions (m/f/d)

As a Hardware Verification Engineer - Charging Systems (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, safety and reliability of our charging solutions for hearing devices.

You will combine hands-on electronics testing with Python-based test automation, developing test setups and verification methods that bring our products through development and towards market readiness. Working at the intersection of hardware, embedded software and system verification, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to turn complex technical requirements into robust, measurable and reliable solutions.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of verification activities throughout the product lifecycle while contributing directly to products that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

More about the role

  • Design, build, calibrate and continuously improve test setups and measurement benches for the verification of charging solutions
  • Develop and maintain automated verification frameworks and test scripts, with a strong focus on Python
  • Plan and execute experiments to assess charging behavior, power management, performance and safety mechanisms under realistic usage conditions
  • Translate system requirements, design specifications and risk analyses into effective test conditions, test cases and test procedures
  • Investigate test failures, analyze measurement data, identify root causes and collaborate with development teams to drive corrective actions
  • Process, visualize and document test and measurement data to provide clear evidence of product performance and verification results
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, embedded software and system engineers as well as Test Managers, external partners and colleagues across different sites

More about you

  • BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Around 3–6 years of experience in verification and testing of electronic systems, ideally combining hardware and embedded firmware
  • Strong Python skills for test automation, data processing and analysis
  • Hands-on experience developing custom test setups using Raspberry Pi, Arduino or similar MCU-based platforms, combined with solid electronics and measurement know-how
  • Practical experience troubleshooting electronic devices and a structured approach to root-cause analysis and problem solving
  • A proactive, quality-focused and collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in an international, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent English communication skills; German skills are an advantage

Experience with medical device development, C#, MATLAB, test management or relevant safety and regulatory standards is considered an advantage.
