Practical Trainee

Internship (6 months) — Audio Development

In our Research and Development (R&D) group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals, including hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.

 

During your internship in R&D, you will contribute to the functional development of our hearing devices in the Audiology team.

 

Your tasks

  • Contribute to development of new test methods to test novel algorithms
  • Plan and execute audiological studies, including technical measurements
  • Analyze results and formulate proposals for implementation in our products
  • Communicate results to colleagues
  • Support and collaborate closely with audiological researchers

 

Your profile

  • University degree in engineering, computer science, acoustics, or audiology
  • Proficient in:
    • Programming in MATLAB
    • Using (electro)acoustic test and measurement equipment
    • Statistical data analysis and data visualization
    • Documentation and writing reports
  • Analytical, independent, and proactive
  • Strong ability to work in a team  
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment with a positive approach
  • Good knowledge of German or English
