Process & Innovations Engineer

We invite you to become part of our Operations team, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how processes run within our organization.

As a member of this newly established team, you will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and developing processes that drive our business forward.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

 

As a Process & Innovations Engineer, you will be responsible for thoroughly examining our operational processes in Switzerland, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and driving optimization initiatives. You will also lead the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and positively impact Sonova’s overall performance. Your ideas and contributions will help shape the future of our operations.

 

What you will do:

  • Analyze existing processes within the organization.
  • Ensure stability and consistency of current processes.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Implement enhancements to optimize existing processes.
  • Design and develop new processes aimed at improving efficiency.
  • Introduce and integrate innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Operations team to streamline organizational performance.

 

More about you:

 

We are looking for someone with experience in working with processes within a manufacturing environment. Ideally, you have a background in a regulated industry such as medical device manufacturing (preferred), pharmaceuticals, or aerospace. You are naturally curious and enjoy exploring topics in depth, identifying opportunities for improvement—even where they might not be obvious. You can work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting. Your ability to combine analytical thinking with teamwork will be key to driving innovation and efficiency.

 

Essential qualifications:

  • Degree in a technical field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in German – mandatory requirement
  • English advanced (B2 or higher) – mandatory requirement

Good to have qualifications:

  • Experience in creating simulations using a simulation tool (e.g. MATLAB).
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including complex calculations, model creation).
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance.
