Product Manager Charging System Solutions
The Product Manager is the owner of a product and ensures Phonak has a reliable and user-friendly product offering. He/She understands how their product works, communicates the benefits it brings to our customers, and aligns with other products in the portfolio to build a seamless ecosystem. The responsibility stretches over the full product lifecycle.
Your tasks:
- Responsible for managing the entire product life cycle with a focus on a reliable and user-friendly offering, ensuring a harmonious product ecosystem
- Leading the product development phases, including the definition and introduction of new products. Initiating feasibility studies and benchmark analyses as a basis for technology projects, portfolio extensions and future platforms
- Actively gathering market and customer feedback to optimize the configuration of the product portfolio and focus on relevant success factors
- Central point of contact for product functionalities, portfolio and unique selling points
- Drives the definition process, requirements and specifications for the next generation of products
- Triggers feasibility studies and technology projects
- Closely works with peers to create an appealing value proposition and delivers it through their product
- Knows competitor's products/services and performs or triggers benchmark studies
- Ensures regulatory compliance of the product, packaging, accompanying documents and all other deliverables needed for a successful market introduction
- Works closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Finance, Procurement, Design & UX, following the Sonova process landscape
- Coordinates and interfaces with 3rd party suppliers
- Close collaboration with other PM's in a joint launch, aligning with different timelines in hardware and software development for on-time market introduction
- Monitors quality KPI's and drives root cause analyses or improvement initiatives
- Responsibility for the quality and commercial effectiveness of the market launch, taking into account schedule and budget
Your profile:
- Technical university, or comparable
- 2 years product management with a sound technical background
- Ability to work under pressure
- Creativity and ability to change
- Willingness to perform and result orientation
- Communication and the ability to assert oneself
- Collaborate cross-functionally, and address audiences across different levels
- Very good English skills
