Senior Audio DSP Embedded Software Engineer

As a signal processing embedded software engineer, you will be developing audio signal-processing algorithms for hearing device software applications. You will contribute across all innovation steps, from concept to the finished product. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of researchers, signal processing engineers, software developers, architects and electrical engineers to realize hearing solutions with new and improved audio algorithms. You like to share your knowledge, learn from others and collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment. 

 

Your tasks
 

  • Develop audio signal algorithms and embedded software for hearing aid applications (Matlab/Simulink, C, Python, Git, and more)
  • Contribute to concept, prototype and product development in multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Develop and optimize embedded medical software in Model Based Design, V-Model and an agile development process.
  • Contribute to continuous delivery and integration
  • Structure the embedded software and its interfaces to support its conceptual integrity, modularity and extensibility 

    

Your profile 

 

  • MSc/PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Excellent knowledge in audio signal algorithms
  • Experience with embedded software development
  • Knowledge of object-oriented software design, model-based design or comparable development methods, processor and embedded systems architecture
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
