Senior Manager Audiology Professional Standards and Training
The Senior Manager Audiology Professional Standards & Training is responsible for defining and implementing global audiology and sales standards for the Sonova Audiological Care clinics, creating, and evolving a tier level approach tailored to the in-clinic practices. This role is an integral part of the HearingCare Academy focused on trainings and upskilling HCPs to deliver a superior customer experience, enhancing clinical effectiveness, and driving differentiation in clinical practices for all Sonova Audiological care clinics.
More about the role:
- Map and define global audiology standards for Sonova Audiological Care clinics (incl. local & regional regulations & guidelines)
- Collaborate with local Audiology & Medicalization and / or Training teams, marketing & global commercial excellence to tailor standards to meet both global benchmarks and local needs.
- Conduct a gap analysis on existing vs. required standards of services and define a global roadmap to close the gaps.
- Identify key enablers to deliver on the roadmap, incl. new solutions, equipment, software tools & data integration.
- Drive program management of complex trainings / upskilling program rollouts across AC
- Oversee the deployment of the Global Standards and upskilling measures to meet standards of practice in close collaboration with local market organizations as well as other stakeholders (e.g. Hearing Care Academy, Marketing, Commercial Excellence).
- Work with the product team on delivery of required solutions & services to achieve required audiology standards.
- Work closely with the Academy head in the design, development, and rollout of critical training programs across AC GCs
- Design and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to the desired standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including local Audmed in markets, Hearing Care Academy and HCPs to integrate the standards into daily operations
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with local teams to support and facilitate the implementation of standards.
- Gather and analyze feedback from audits and local teams to continuously refine and improve standards and thereby upskilling solutions
- Be the audiology thought leader by staying up to date on industry trends and emerging topics to ensure standards remain current and relevant.
- Foster relationships with external partners and institutions to incorporate best practices and innovations, in collaboration with R&D and local market Audmed leads.
- Track progress and performance, incl. KPI reporting
- Travel 20% – 30%
More about you:
- Advanced Degree in Audiology, Ph,D, MBA or Au.D. preferred
- 10+ years of experience in audiology fitting hearing devices
- Experience in project management
- Experience in conducting audits and compliance monitoring a plus
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined
- Well organized and structured
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance work schedules
- Solution-oriented
- Capable of working under pressure with a high degree of flexibility
- Ability to collaborate extensively with various HQ’s and local market functions
- Strong presentation and training skills, capable of explaining complex matters in a simplistic manner
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
- Ability to summarize and adapt to customer feedback
- Ability to lead through influence
- Workshop facilitation, Lean Six Sigma, and Kazien a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience working with IT systems Quality Management, CRM, SAP, PowerBI, Miro
