Senior Manager Market Insights

We are looking for an experienced insight professional to play a critical role in shaping the pipeline and direction of our business. Solid insight and foresight work are key to further strengthen Sonova`s leadership position in the market. You will help bring to life the global insights vision by providing leadership to functional partners for robust insight generation plans. You will prioritize and guide primary and secondary research projects across a variety of qualitative and quantitative techniques and ensure that team efforts result in actionable and transformational insights for the business, aligning the insights to commercial realities. Your tasks

 

  • Become the sparring partner of the global marketing team, shaping strategic brand and pipeline decisions based on target customer needs and future trends
  • Manage research projects end-to-end and corresponding research milestones; ensure all projects are conducted in a compliant manner in accordance with the Sonova processes 
  • Deliver insights and actionable recommendations in a collaborative manner, selecting the appropriate format and forum, driving the discussion on impact on the business
  • Communicate complex topics with high level of clarity, simplicity, and impact
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships across a matrixed, international organization and influence key decision makers across the global business using insights and recommendations 

 
 

Your profile

 

  • Master degree in Economics, Psychology, Sociology or related field 
  • 8+ years of working experience in manufacturer side marketing research or insights role (healthcare, pharma, medtech)
  • 3+ years of experience in global insights departments / working on global projects
  • Experienced in generating meaningful and relevant insights from a variety of primary and secondary data sources
  • Having the ability to balance competing priorities, esp. in fast paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently to meet internal timelines
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information and data
  • Skilled in Standard Office Programs; Confirmit and PowerBI would be a nice to have
  • Fluent in English; German and other languages are an asset
