Senior User Experience Research Manager

As Senior User Experience Research Manager, you are the cornerstone of our Design Experience team by shaping the user experience of our solutions and platforms. In this role, you will drive user experience research activities to ensure that our business decisions are grounded in a profound understanding of our users, paving the way for ultimately delightful experiences with our solutions.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Lead all user UX Research activities, e.g. establish a research agenda, define project and product priorities and oversee all research efforts across products
  • Effectively socialize user insights across the whole organization and establish state of the art standards in Usability-Testing and other UX Research activities 
  • Manage test participant pools in Sonova for user tests according needs from UX & Design team
  • Serve as a sparring partner with Experience Designers (hardware/software), project managers, and marketing managers to develop an integrated product and solution strategy 
  • Maintain awareness and knowledgeable of all product and solution aspects, monitoring and driving solutions from design concepts to final launch and post-launch analysis
  • Acts as an advocate of the product to its users, imparting insight on the product’s value and usability
  • Continuously strives to optimize the experience customers and consumers have along all touchpoints of the journey, including  product and digital touchpoints
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouring the team to stay current with UX, design and healthcare industry trends as well as emerging technologies
  • Close collaboration with related functions and role in market insights and competitive intelligence 

 

Your profile

 

  • University degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or related field of study
  • 6+ years of experience in User Research, Human Factors, HCI, Market Research, Market Insights in high growth, customer-centric companies
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a holistic business mindset and a deep understanding of diverse research methodologies
  • Experience in cross-functional project leadership with the ability to effectively drive projects and land insights into the business
  • Experience in integrating UX priorities into the innovation pathway process landscape and within a wide business context
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information and data
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
