Senior iOS Core Components Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Core Components Engineer to develop and optimize core mobile components, playing a pivotal role in our evolving product lineup. This is a key role in a growing international team responsible for advancing foundational system functionality in mobile medical applications.

Your tasks

 

  • Lead the development of advanced mobile core components for medical applications, focusing on business logic and system architecture rather than UX/UI design
  • Act as a champion for high-quality development, driving best practices including modern architectural patterns, coding standards, automated testing, continuous integration, and peer code reviews
  • Design, build, and maintain reusable software components across various applications
  • Drive architectural improvements through refactoring efforts and ensure long-term scalability of the codebase
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate core components into the overall product ecosystem
  • Contribute to discussions and technical decision-making within the team and with Product Owners to refine requirements and user stories  

 

Your profile

 

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field 
  • 8+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on business logic and core components (UI/UX is not what is meant)  
  • Strong expertise in Swift and solid experience with Objective-C, particularly in developing and optimizing key application functions at the core level
  • In-depth understanding of Git-based version control and distributed development workflows
  • Experience with modern architectural principles such as Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and advanced testing practices
  • Passionate about agile methodologies and continuous development improvement
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (PO, Marketing) 
  • Solution-oriented team player with good communication skills, collaborative and positive mindset 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
