Software Engineer C# .NET /WPF

Research & Development delivers hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people, hearing care professionals, and further related people, in the form of hearing devices, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.

This is your opportunity to work in a scaled agile environment within internationally distributed and passionate teams developing high quality solutions for the medical hearing health care sector. The customer-oriented software you develop is used by health care professionals worldwide to support hearing impaired people on their hearing journey. For your work you apply the latest technologies and tools such as Visual Studio / Rider, ReSharper, .NET Framework and actively contribute to development and evolution of our platforms.  

 

Your tasks

 

  • Design and develop new UI functionalities and application logic for our hearing solutions
  • Implement, test, integrate and maintain Sonova desktop fitting platform and applications   
  • Develop and integrate desktop application services with audiological domain and backend services
  • Closely collaborate and perform as a team with architects, project leaders, test, UX and requirements engineers
  • Actively participate in the entire software development process
  • Contribute to an agile, developer-driven culture and environment

 
Your profile
 

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in software development 
  • Strong experience in C# / .Net, WPF application development and with UI frameworks (WPF, HTML, MVVM) is a must
  • Experience with software architectures and programming principles like SOLID and clean code
  • Solution-oriented, positive thinker and team player
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills, German is a plus
  • Resilient, adaptable, open minded and confident in navigating change
  • Experience in the following areas are a plus:
    • Knowledge/experience in Avalonia
    • Development of SW application products integrated with other SW and HW systems
    • Health care industry
