Senior Software Developer - C#

In a professional and international team of SW engineers and test automation experts you contribute with your excellent C# software developing skills to the success of Sonova’s state-of-the-art hearing device solutions.

 

In close collaboration with SW engineers and experts of various domains you advance our automated verification tools to the next level and you further expand our powerful test automation framework with new functionality allowing to verify our latest hearing device innovations and technology.

 

By mastering state of the art tools and agile processes you confidently operate in a fast evolving and interdisciplinary R&D environment.


Your tasks

 

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain tools, libraries, and interfaces in our C# based test automation framework
  • Contribute to the test automation framework architecture in close collaboration with SW engineers and experts of different teams
  • Develop concept of new solutions required for the automated system verification of hearing devices and their interaction with mobile devices, apps, and other accessories
  • Contribute to the development, execution, evaluation, and maintenance of automated tests and support the test automation engineers in the team
  • Collaborate closely with framework developers, test automation engineers, and application experts of various disciplines in an agile development environment

 

Your profile

 

  • Master’s degree in an engineering discipline, computer science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in SW engineering using C#
  • Affinity for hardware, mobile devices, and wireless communication
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and to design and implement sustainable solutions
  • Knowledge in embedded SW development or automated testing is a plus
  • Passion for high quality and agile methodologies as well as organizational and coordinative skills to drive continuous improvements
  • Systematic, precise, and pro-active working attitude and profound communication skills in English; German is a plus
