Technical Test Analyst - Embedded System Verification

In a professional and international team of test automation engineers and software developers you contribute to the quality and performance of Sonova’s state-of-the-art hearing solutions.

In close collaboration with requirement engineers, test automation engineers and developers across various domains, you bridge the gap between development and testing. By analyzing system requirements, designing test cases and applying appropriate testing methodologies you ensure that functional system requirements and technical specifications are met.

Your tasks:

• In close collaboration with requirement engineers and domain experts, you analyze and review functional system requirements to identify testing needs and potential risks
• Develop, design, implement and maintain concepts and automated test cases for functional system verification
• Ensure that well-structured test cases cover all relevant scenarios and apply appropriate testing methodologies
• Collaborate closely with requirement engineers, test managers and development teams to foster a common understanding of requirements and quality expectations
• Support the execution of automated tests, analyze test results, report defects to stakeholders and coordinate with development teams to facilitate timely resolution
• Leverage your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance our well-established test environment and contribute to the development of innovative testing strategies for future generations of hearing devices
• Contribute to quarterly planning events and have a strong stake in coordinating the activities of the test automation team

Your profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering, system engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of professional work experience as Technical Test Analyst or System Test Engineer, preferably in a regulated industry, or a background in embedded HW/SW development with a dedicated focus on testing and quality improvement
• Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze complex systems, design and implement sustainable solutions
• Affinity for electronics and rechargeable technology, SW engineering skills would be a plus
• ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level – (Technical) Test Analyst certificate 
• Committed to teamwork, experienced in facilitating agile ceremonies and managing backlog
• Passion for high quality as well as organizational, coordinative and lateral leadership skills
• Systematic, precise, reliable and pro-active working attitude
• Profound communication and documentation skills in English, German highly appreciated
