Verification Manager for Electronic Components

As Electronic Design Verification Manager, you are responsible for establishing, managing, and executing efficient verification and validation practices for hearing device infrastructure programs. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our electronic components testing process.


Your tasks

  • Create and deliver components test documentation, covering different levels of integration (verification strategy, verification plan, verification report)
  • Review component requirements and specifications for testability, consistency, and completeness
  • Develop test cases (manual, exploratory, automated) in collaboration with technical experts, including pre-conditions and test setups
  • Maintain and improve existing test cases and setups
  • Ensure compliance of testing practices with best practices and Sonova’s standard operating procedures
  • Plan and assign resources for test case engineering and test execution throughout project phases
  • Participate in risk assessments and prioritize tests based on risk-based testing principles
  • Manage testing execution progress, report statuses, and participate in core team meetings

 

Your profile

  • Higher technical school or a diploma in electronics or a related field 
  • Over 5 years of experience in an R&D role with a proven track record in requirement engineering and testing
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to lead and inspire a team of test engineers
  • Strong understanding of hearing instrument systems is a plus
  • Good communication skills, able to work in diverse and distributed teams
  • Knowledge of test management, bug management, and test case engineering
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and risk management practices
  • Proficient in English and German, both spoken and written
