Key requirements of the position

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Product and Partnerships the Marketing Specialist will contribute to the overall marketing strategic objectives with a key focus in the organization and execution of marketing campaign deliverables related to product launches and medical services, external partnerships, repurchase, and lead generating activities.  

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Product & Medical Services Marketing:

  • Contribute to the development of product marketing strategies around pricing, advertising and product launches
  • Work with local and global teams to translate technical details into client-facing narratives, focussing on product benefits
  • Develop key messaging and creative deliverables across all marketing channels
  • Evaluate campaigns using relevant KPIs and feedback from clients
  • Support product launch events as required including event management, training, and roadshows

 

Direct Campaign Support & Partnership Execution:

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to create and optimize various lead-generation partnership campaign strategies
  • Support the execution of all direct and partnership campaigns
  • Develop partner-based communications strategies designed to create action within our target audience
  • Provide insights and feedback on campaigns
  • Report monthly on KPI metrics

 

Repurchase Campaign Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, deliver and report on existing customer marketing campaigns driving repurchase units and repurchase rate
  • Manage customer communication flows
  • Work with other marketing team members and departments to achieve targets

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma from a recognized institution, preferably in a marketing discipline and/or no less than three years of experience working in an advertising agency or marketing department.
  • Experience writing and delivering project briefs and brand campaign project management 
  • Proven record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results
  • Experience working with an agency to develop campaigns
  • Experience implementing effective CRM strategies in a consumer-focused omnichannel business environment
  • Proven expertise in lifecycle and trigger-based communications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Valid driver's licence 
  • Flexibility to travel and work weekend events as required

  • Copywriting – the ability to brief, proof and write marketing and promotional materials in English
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative business relationships
  • Team player - show the appropriate support to other team members to help them get the job done.
