Role Purpose:
To develop new and existing opportunities and commercial relations for Phonak as the leading authority in hearing instrument and wireless connectivity, broadening our leadership position in the UK market. This role will be focussed on the Paediatric NHS and Education/ Government channels, with a clear vision on bringing together key opinion leaders in these markets in order to drive market share. To be the face of Phonak, driving valued relationships that build long-term business and advocacy. This is a national role, to include regular travel within the UK.
About The Role:
- To ensure that Phonak UK sales are developed in line with the business strategic goals. To manage and oversee all commercial aspects of our private portfolio on territory.
- To lead on Paediatric Hearing aid portfolio within the NHS and Roger Portfolio within the Education Sector
- To promote the full range of Phonak Paediatric Hearing aids to the NHS and Roger Portfolio to education accounts.
- Help to determine and deliver the commercial initiatives and strategy plan for the Sky and Roger Portfolio.
- Achieve sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Audiology and Roger teams
- Support sales team in meetings with key Paediatric and Education accounts.
- Organise meetings and events with cross functional teams in Paediatric Audiology and Teachers of the Deaf/Ed Auds and Local Education Authorities.
- Networking and representing Sonova at industry events.
- Coordinate Product and audiological training and education with customer base.
- Attend regular sales and business meetings with the Phonak Team.
- Attend trade shows and industry exhibitions throughout the year as guided by the Sales Manager.
- Maximise coverage of all Phonak accounts and maintain company records to the agreed standard.
- Introduce new products to the customer base in the agreed company format and time frame.
- Provide up to date and relevant correspondence to customers in line with marketing strategies and promotional agreements.
- Ensure Customer Services are accurately informed of account changes in line with agreements.
- Provide management with details of competitor activity and market development on a regular basis.
- Time manage own diary in line with business and customer coverage & frequency targets.
- Management of commercial offers in line with business guidelines.
- All expenses in line with policy and procedures.
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate in line with business needs.
- Responsible for adhering to H&S requirements and supporting such.
- Liaise with management and Inside Sales to target and track planned strategic activity.
- Communicate plan success and opportunities for improvement with Sales Ops Product Manager.
- Co-ordinate regular and effective senior team customer meetings to support on-going customer relations, opportunities and Phonak advocacy.
- Make recommendations, and produce business plans and proposals.
- Develop customer growth strategies that utilise our full offering of products and services.
- Be able to support and champion customer sales strategies that don’t rely on competing on price.
- Identify and drive appropriate investment and partnership opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Other projects as approved and any other duties to support the needs of the business.
- Liaison with WCP specialist AB representatives keeping regular contact and strategic co- working.
