Regional Hearingcare Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the South Leadership team as Regional Hearingcare Manager for Region 15/Dorset and Hampshire, reporting to the Head of Retail, South on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team and develop leadership competencies along the way.

 

In this exciting role you will lead and inspire Hearing Aid Audiologists and store-based colleagues to be the best that they can be by sharing your passion for exemplary customer care, and clinical excellence. As a Regional Hearingcare Manager you will implement the retail strategy in line with the Company’s Strategic Goals, Brand Values and Financial targets.

The right candidate will have a proven track record of sales delivery and be committed to the development of colleagues. The role will require regular travel, and you will be expected to attend stores across the region and division as appropriate. You will either live within the region or be willing to relocate.

 

Within your role you will:

 

  • Engage with all colleagues in stores to understand the insights gained through customers and deliver exceptional Customer Care.
  • Produce, in conjunction with the Head of Retail, sales budgets and forecasts based on tangible information on past performance, the potential business and a forecast of new business.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly analysis of retail performance and report on deliverables agreed in business plan. Plan and implement actions based on the results, providing feedback and advice to your team.
  • Influence key partners & stakeholders to maximise retail opportunities through engagement in Hearingcare.
  • Drive and influence demand locally by optimising Hearing Health Check opportunity and maximising Hearing Check Up activity throughout stores.
  • Create trusted experts in Hearingcare by ensuring the highest clinical and professional standards are delivered, holding regular clinic observations and store visits.
  • Review team performance regularly in line with the Company Appraisal process.
  • Meet Hearing Aid Audiologist recruitment and retention requirements (critical for the role)
  • Maximise customer footprint by improving capacity and trading hours.

 

 

You should have:

 

  • At least two years’ of retail management experience, preferably in a healthcare or similar retail environment.
  • Budget accountability and be comfortable reporting at a senior level.
  • The ability to make decisions, use initiative and carry out appropriate actions in line with the company policy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, manage, motivate, and derive the best from a professional team.
  • A proven track record in the delivery of on-target sales in a similar retail environment.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Previous experience in the hearing care industry would be an advantage however training will be given in the products and dispensing processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment, able to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills.
  • Full driving licence.
