Senior PC Support Specialist

The Senior PC Support Specialist provides frontline IT support by coordinating the outsourced IT Service Desk and internal IT consultants. This role ensures the availability and efficient operation of computer systems in a regulated medical device environment and supports all end-user IT needs at AB Headquarters.

 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for IT service requests, in-person support, and end-user setup at AB Headquarters
• Coordinate the outsourced Service Desk provider to ensure efficient ticket handling, service-level adherence, and proper escalation
• Develop and maintain service desk processes and task scheduling to optimize support efficiency
• Oversee all IT service requests to ensure timely resolutions that meet agreed service deadlines
• Support onboarding and offboarding by preparing, configuring, and recovering IT assets
• Assist with procurement tasks such as purchase requisitions, order tracking, and license renewals under IT management direction
• Manage relationships with IT suppliers, contribute to functionality testing, and track the lifecycle of end-user devices including configuration, deployment, and retirement

More about you:

• Minimum of 3 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in an IT Service Desk and Active Directory role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Windows desktop/server environments, VOIP, networking, Azure Active Directory, and Windows Remote Desktop Services
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support and engage employees at all levels
• Ability to guide others on IT support processes and manage third-party IT service providers (such as DXC)
• Experience managing service desk operations and incident tracking systems to support timely resolution and continuous improvement
• Comfortable providing onsite support five days a week, with occasional availability outside standard office hours

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $61,600.00 – $77,000.00 . This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
