Systems Test Engineer

What you’ll do:

As part of the system test team, the engineer will take an essential role of integrating a feature-rich firmware onto the multi-core hardware of the next generation of cochlear implant system. The engineer will evaluate the performance, the safety, the connectivity, and the robustness characteristics of the design in close cooperation with technical and regulatory team members, during the design and the verification phase.

Develop or modify design verification plans and design verification reports in constant alignment with the product specifications.

In charge of the hardware and software design and development of automated testing environment, plus its documentation, qualification, and maintenance.

Ensure test alignments with current design and complete test coverage.

Collaborate with design team members for failure mode analysis and to prepare products for testing.


What you bring to the team:

BS degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, related field

MS degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, related field     

- 2+ years in real-time, low power, embedded system testing

- Familiarity with LabVIEW, Matlab, Python, C/C++

- Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD)

- Familiarity with TestStand

- Experience in hearing-instrument-industry (i.e. hearing-aid and/or cochlear implant)

- Good technical skills with the ability to trouble-shoot electric circuits

- Basic knowledge of audio signal processing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Good communication skills

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks effectively

- Analytical mindset and problem solving skills

- Capable of efficiently working independently

- Enjoyment in solving problems outside of their area of technical expertise

- Strong commitment in product safety and quality

English proficiency

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Working ablility with Microsoft Visio or similar tools
