Sonova Nederland B.V. is a leading provider of hearing care solutions, committed to making a positive impact on people's lives. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Professional Financial Reporting & Accounting to join our Finance team in Vianen. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential support to our business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Performs general accounting activities including the preparation of accounts, reports and analyses.
• Maintains records and ledgers within a defined region or business area and contributes to the completion of monthly accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepares, analyses and reports accounting transactions and ensures the completeness and accuracy of accounting records and financial reports.
• Provides support to the business on accounting and financial reporting issues as required.
• Supports the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance accounting and financial reporting capabilities.
• Ensure year/month end reporting is completed in accordance with statutory requirements, contributing to timely and accurate financial close processes.

 

Key Experiences:
• Financial accounting
• Tax and VAT knowledge.
• Group reporting.
• Management reporting.
• User experience of ERP systems.
• Microsoft Office Excel.
• English language skills.

 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles and IFRS/statutory reporting standards.
• Expertise with financial systems and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
