This is an opportunity to lead a high-visibility transformation programme spanning multiple strategic initiatives across Boots Hearingcare. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment, maintain momentum, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.

The programme environment

You’ll operate across a transformation programme made up of multiple interdependent projects, working closely with senior leaders, project teams, and stakeholders across the organisation.

 

The role offers:

The role

As a Programme Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead the delivery of a transformation programme consisting of multiple interdependent projects
  • Establish and maintain programme governance and reporting structures
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear programme and project plans
  • Manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
  • Provide clear, executive-ready reporting on programme performance
  • Work closely with project leads to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum
  • Ensure initiatives remain aligned to the overall programme benefits and business case
  • Support collaboration across teams and functions to ensure successful delivery

You may also take ownership of specific projects within the programme to ensure delivery remains on track.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in programme or project management
  • Strong experience delivering complex cross-functional programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience managing programme governance, risk, and reporting frameworks
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple interdependent workstreams

 

Desirable:

  • Programme or project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, PgMP)
  • Experience within transformation or PMO environments
  • Familiarity with programme management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello)
