At Boots Hearingcare, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth-expanding our store network, evolving our World of Hearing concept, and investing in initiatives that help our teams deliver exceptional customer experiences and commercial results.

 

To support this, we’re strengthening our sales Operation’s function and introducing a Sales Excellence Manager role to elevate how we equip and enable our sales teams across the business.

 

This is an opportunity to shape the tools, frameworks, and processes that drive commercial performance across our retail network.

 

The commercial environment

You’ll work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, HR and Learning & Development to ensure our commercial initiatives are effectively embedded across the business.

This role sits at the heart of how we translate commercial strategy into practical execution across our stores.

 

The role

As Sales Excellence Manager, you’ll:

  • Design and develop sales tools, playbooks, dashboards and processes that support consistent delivery of commercial KPIs
  • Translate performance data and business objectives into clear frameworks and routines for sales leaders
  • Partner with Regional and Cluster Managers to support coaching, performance management and capability development
  • Work with Marketing and L&D teams to ensure campaigns, training and materials support the customer journey and commercial objectives
  • Support the rollout and field execution of the World of Hearing customer journey
  • Coordinate sales initiatives and ensure alignment across multiple business functions
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement of sales processes and operational standards
  • Support the design and communication of sales incentive plans and performance frameworks

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the sales organisation has the tools, insights and structure needed to consistently deliver high-quality customer experiences and commercial results.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in a commercial, sales operations or sales excellence role
  • Experience working within a multi-site retail or service environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales performance and process improvement
  • Experience collaborating with Sales Leadership, Marketing, HR and L&D
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and performance data
  • Ability to design and implement sales enablement tools and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and project management capability
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

 

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting sales training or capability development programmes
  • Experience delivering field-based commercial initiatives
  • Understanding of customer journey design and sales conversion frameworks
  • Experience working within a retail healthcare or service-led environment
