Senior IT Manager

This is an opportunity to be part of an ongoing global IT transformation while elevating the local IT function across the UK and Ireland. You’ll work closely with local teams in Warrington and Llandudno, as well as regional and global IT colleagues and senior business leaders.

More about the role
- Lead and develop the local IT team across Warrington and Llandudno
- Manage day-to-day IT operations for sites across the UK and Ireland
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and align IT with business needs
- Ensure reliable, stable IT services across sites and retail locations
- Deliver local and global IT projects effectively
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment and standards
- Manage the local IT budget and ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures
More about you
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement, expectation management, and conflict resolution skills
- Hands-on approach with solid technical knowledge in end-user computing, service management, and application management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance global IT standards and local priorities
- Continuous improvement mindset with cost-conscious decision-making
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience with strong organisational and planning skills
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field
- Certifications in Microsoft IT environments
- Experience with project and IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2)
