Ariba Functional Support Specialist

Purpose of the job is: to provide 2nd level support (functional support) to SAP Ariba users across Sonova companies making sure the system remains operational. Approval flow, master data, user data, catalogues creation, supplier enablement


Your Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining strong knowledge of SAP and Ariba  Buying and Commerce Automation
  • Provide support for SAP-Ariba including, controlling user access and problem fixing by coordinating with other departments to assist if necessary (IT, Tax, Procurement)
  • Analyses the issues and provides support to resolve technical system problems
  • Support Procurement teams to setup the required functionality in Ariba such as: Catalogs, Supplier Enablement , Approval Flow, user groups and rights, reports, invoicing rules and other
  • Participates in Ariba implementation projects
  • Support on implementing new suppliers and buying processes such as catalogues
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Limited travelling maximum 2 days per month.


Your Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in SAP Ariba solutions
  • Experience with Ariba integration incl. middleware (CIG) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Detailed technical and functional knowledge Ariba Buying and Commerce Automation
  • Strong SAP knowledge
  • Any experience within Procurement is a plus
  • Attitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • English Fluent, any other European language is a plus
