Business Controlling Analyst (Retail)

Purpose of the job: Maintain and develop the full Retail reporting infrastructure in order to drive actionable insights into the performance of our Group Companies. Act as key contributor in the HQ monthly closing and reporting process. Own data collection and preparation for quarterly business reviews and various presentations. Support Retail global budget and quarterly estimate processes. Provide financial and analytical support for various ad hoc projects.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Monthly reporting of KPIs including analysis and interpretation of monthly Sales, OPEX, working capital and Marketing KPIs
  • Maintain & develop further standard management reports and data structures to ensure consistency and efficiency in tracking key KPIs
  • Act as key contributor in the HQ monthly closing and reporting process
  • Support the global budget, quarterly estimate and weekly forecasting processes
  • Own data collection and preparation for quarterly business reviews and various presentations
  • Provide financial and analytical support for cross-functional projects

 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • University Degree in Business Administration or Finance & Controlling
  • 3-5 years of work experience financial analysis FP&A ideally gained in a Sales function
  • Controlling experience with an established international retail company
  • In-depth knowledge of data analysis and data-driven action planning
  • Capable of seeing the big picture and identifying trends
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
  • Strong knowledge in: Microsoft Excel incl. PowerPivot, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability / experience in building large scale databases using different data sources
  • Strong business acumen, strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Healthcare (medical devices) industry experience is nice to have
  • SAP, Business Warehouse, PowerBI (nice to have)
  • Experience with D365 FO (nice to have)
