Demand Planning Manager

At Sonova, we are committed to creating innovative hearing care solutions that improve the quality of life for millions of people around the world. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join our Global Demand Planning team.

In this role, you will manage and continuously improve the global demand planning process, ensuring reliable forecasts that enable efficient sourcing, production, and inventory planning across our international network. You will collaborate closely with Group Companies, Global Value Chain teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive forecast accuracy, optimize planning processes, and support business performance.

 

More about the role :

 

  • Manage the monthly global demand planning cycle across multiple countries and customer channels.
  • Collect, validate, consolidate, and maintain demand forecasts in SAP APO.
  • Analyze forecast performance, identify trends, and investigate root causes of forecast deviations.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy KPIs and collaborate with local teams to implement improvement actions.
  • Support and guide Group Companies in improving forecasting quality and demand insights.
  • Develop and maintain global, regional, and country-level reporting packages.
  • Drive continuous improvement of demand planning processes, reporting, and planning tools.
  • Represent the Wholesale Demand Planning function within the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Collaborate with Global Value Chain, SAP, and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize system enhancements.
  • Support business decision-making during supply constraints by contributing to product prioritization activities.

 

More about you :

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Supply Chain, Forecasting, or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP/SIOP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Experience working with planning systems, preferably SAP APO.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience working in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive process optimization.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
