As Finance and Controlling Specialist in Sonova Consumer Hearing /Sennheiser, you will support the financial department for the Benefralux subregion, which consists of Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. Your focus will be on France. You will ensure timely and accurate financial administration on a broad range of financial activities, including data analysis, report preparation, month-end closing, and participating in the daily operational financial tasks. 

 

This position will be in Warsaw .

 

 More about the role :

 

  • Own and manage the full scope of General Ledger accounting and financial reporting activities for the assigned entities, ensuring compliance with Sonova accounting policies, IFRS, and local statutory and tax regulations. 
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in line with Group deadlines. 
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for both Group and statutory purposes, including coordination with tax authorities and external regulators where required. 
  • Take full ownership of balance sheet integrity by managing reconciliations for key accounts, including intercompany positions, bank accounts, accruals, and other critical balance sheet items, while proactively investigating and resolving discrepancies. 
  • Ensure accurate VAT, tax, and statutory compliance processes in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Act as the key finance contact for local audits, coordinating year-end audit activities with external auditors, Corporate Controlling, and other relevant stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Shared Service Center, which is responsible for transactional AR and AP activities, while retaining ownership of review, controls, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the assigned entities. 
  • Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to strengthen efficiency, compliance, and financial transparency. 
  • Partner with Corporate Controlling and regional finance stakeholders on technical accounting matters, reporting topics, and financial analyses. 
  • The position reports directly to the Regional Head of Finance EMEA. 
 

 

More about you :

 

  • Business graduate in Financial Accounting and Controlling or a Finance Accountant with 3-5 years of experience from an audit firm or multinational company. 

  • Possess a solid understanding of local tax environment (import duties, CIT, VAT/GST, WHT) as well as intragroup transaction tax compliance requirements in general. 

  • Experience in performing and coordinating local planning processes, target settings, budgets, and monthly forecasts in line with Corporate Controlling guidance, incl. OPEX budget. 

  • Proficient in MS-Office, i.e. Excel, and experience with ERP Systems (e.g., JDE). 

  • Fluent in business English and in French 

  • A positive attitude and ability to collaborate is crucial, as the community is in focus at Sonova
