Global Supply Chain Planner

Join our dynamic global team as a Supply Chain Planner and play a pivotal role in the global planning of the supply chain for hearing instruments and accessories. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that focuses exclusively on Phonak products, ensuring smooth demand and supply operations across our worldwide production sites. 
 
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of products within your assigned portfolio. This portfolio may include various materials, such as finished goods and accessories, and you will play a key part in maintaining product availability to meet business needs.

Your tasks  

 

  • Continuously track, analyze, review, and align demand and supply to ensure optimal availability of supplies for mid and long-term planning 
  • Ensure compliance with demand and production planning guidelines, taking corrective actions when necessary, and ensuring global capacity alignment between different manufacturing sites, according to established rules and standards 
  • Collaborate with product managers and internal suppliers to develop feasible long-term supply plans 
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of key master data in SAP SCM (APO) and SAP ECC 
  • Foster the adoption of best practices, identify continuous improvement possibilities, and drive the initiatives to enhance the quality of demand and supply planning 
     

Required Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Operations, or a related field  
  • Supply Chain Certification (e.g. APICS) is desirable 
  • Fluent English 

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, with additional experience in related fields such as Procurement, Manufacturing, or Logistics. Plant planning experience is a plus 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with particularly strong Excel capabilities 
  • Experience with SAP APO or similar planning system  
  • Experience in influencing others without authority 

 
Skills and capabilities: 

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive decision-making concisely across different levels of the organization 
  • Proven track record of challenging the status quo and adapting to change 
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate large amounts of information and draw sound conclusions for effective decision-making 
  • A dynamic, self-starter personality with a “can-do attitude”  
  • Excellent understanding of complex and global processes
