Manager Quality Systems Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Quality Systems Engineering to lead the digital evolution of our global Quality Management ecosystem. This position combines deep understanding of quality and regulatory requirements with strong expertise in enterprise system design, digital transformation, and compliance automation.

 

More about the role

 

  • Define and execute the global digital strategy for quality systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of eQMS, eLMS, eDMS, and related systems that support quality and compliance processes. 
  • Ensure systems are safe, modern, efficient, compliant, and enable organizational agility.

  • Drive the implementation of new functionalities, modules, and technology upgrades across quality systems.

  • Partner with IT, vendors, and process owners to deliver effective system solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure high-quality support and service.

  • Establish governance for quality systems, including policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Lead and develop a team of specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Promote best practices in system use and provide training support.

  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure systems remain innovative and competitive.

  • Oversee and maintain QARA communications channels and intranet/webpage , ensuring clear and consistent messaging across the company.

  • Lead the creation and distribution of QARA newsletters and announcements.

  • Drive initiatives that increase transparency and awareness of QARA activities and achievements.

More about you

 

  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level quality systems (eQMS, eLMS, eDMS, or comparable platforms). 
  • Strong background in software/system development lifecycle, requirements engineering, and validation of computerized systems. 

  • Proven leadership and people management experience.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Solid understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements in quality systems.

  • Vendor and budget management experience.

  • Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to improve quality processes.

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree is an asset.
