Pricing Excellence Manager

The Pricing Excellence Manager contributes to the development, management and implementation of best-in-class pricing programs and processes, thereby supporting senior leaders in their pricing decisions.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Conducting self-reliant pricing diagnostics to assess and agree upon the strengths and improvement within our local market organizations 
  • Independently thinking through and conducting fact-based analyses
  • Developing strong working relationships and the ability to influence behaviour and facilitating change management across hierarchies 
  • Communicate effectively and organize complex information into easily understandable action recommendations
  • Coordinating pricing improvement efforts and serving as a thought-leader across the entire spectrum of revenue mgmt. This involves shaping  how our senior leaders perceive topics such as market intelligence, performance tracking, analytics, list price setting, discount mgmt. & control, product mix optimization, segmented offering design, etc.
  • Supporting the development of rules, frameworks and tools to sustain new ways of working 


Launch pricing

  • Assuming a supportive role for pricing decisions among senior leaders in cross-functional launch processes
  • Analyze existing and gather missing market research 
  • Coordinate between different stakeholders across the organization, i.e. price approval process 
  • Tracking success and analyzing post launch data to initiate course corrections where necessary


Ongoing performance tracking & ad hoc analysis

  • Monitor pricing performance and realization
  • Identify specific value / improvement opportunities and assist local management in implementing and tracking the change
  • Provide in-depth problem solving analyses as needed.
  • Offering design & innovation
  • Support the coordination, synthesis, definition of strategy, and global implementation of relevant offering innovation


Your profile:

  • Master’s or BA degree or equivalent in economics maths, engineering or other related field
  • 3+ years Management consultancy or in-house consulting
  • 3+ years Pricing / Revenue management experience 
  • Excellent MS XLS and PPT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all seniority levels
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% on business trips
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Profound experience in managing international business environments transformations
  • Profound experience in business casing and analytics
  • Self-starter / highly motivated
  • Flexible and able to handle ambiguity
  • Fluent English

Nice to have:

  • Retail industry experience
  • Medical device / service industry experience
