As Senior Manager Demand Planning & S&OP – IT Business Partnering, you will play a key role in shaping the future of planning at Sonova. Positioned within IT and working at the intersection of Supply Chain Planning, Business and Technology, you will connect Demand Planning and S&OP expertise with technology delivery, helping us build a more integrated, scalable and data-driven planning environment.
You will act as a trusted partner for the Demand Planning domain, understanding business priorities and translating them into technology capabilities and solutions. Working closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, internal IT teams and external technology partners, you will help drive the transformation of our planning landscape. A key part of this journey is the continued implementation and evolution of o9, our AI-enabled planning platform.

More about the role
- Shape the future of Demand Planning and S&OP by supporting the redesign of forecasting and planning processes and helping establish an integrated and scalable planning model across Sonova.
- Act as the key IT business partner for the Demand Planning domain, connecting business priorities with technology capabilities and translating requirements into clear solutions and delivery priorities.
- Drive the continued implementation and evolution of our o9 planning platform, ensuring that technology supports business needs and creates sustainable value.
- Manage business requests and priorities while coordinating delivery across business stakeholders, internal IT and interface teams, and external technology partners.
- Own and develop key supplier relationships, including service reviews, delivery performance, roadmap discussions, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Enable stronger integration across Demand, Supply, Inventory and S&OP, supporting more transparent, data-driven and scenario-based planning and decision-making.
- Play an active role in the broader planning transformation, driving adoption, challenging existing ways of working and helping build a modern planning capability across the organization.
More about you
- Strong, hands-on expertise in Demand Planning, Forecasting and S&OP / IBP, with a solid understanding of how these processes connect across the wider Supply Chain.
- Proven experience working at the intersection of Business and IT, ideally within a Supply Chain or Planning environment with significant exposure to planning technology, systems and transformation.
- Experience contributing to or leading Demand Planning, S&OP or broader Supply Chain Planning transformation initiatives, including the implementation or evolution of planning systems.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, combined with a solid understanding of IT and the ability to translate business needs into actionable technology requirements and solutions.
- Confidence operating in a complex, global and cross-functional environment, collaborating effectively across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, IT and external partners.
- Experience with enterprise planning platforms such as o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder or similar is highly valued. Direct o9 experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- A strategic and analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic approach to execution, with the ability to challenge existing ways of working and drive change in an evolving environment.
