The Senior Manager Financial Planning Systems forms part of the Group FP&A team. This specialist role will be responsible for the ownership, maintenance, and development of the finance organization’s financial planning tool and related processes. The role will equally provide support on various ad hoc requests and strategic finance initiatives

STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP
- Develop and implement a long-term vision for the evolution of the company’s financial planning tools and processes
- Master financial planning processes and tools and stay up to date with the latest developments
- Foster a culture of financial planning innovation and continuous improvement within the Group FP&A team
- Provide coaching and mentorship to functional report located within the Group FP&A CoE
FINANCIAL PLANNING TOOL OWNERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT
- Own the financial planning tool’s end-to-end lifecycle, including configuration, maintenance, and enhancement
- Optimize financial planning tool performance and interfaces to meet evolving business needs
- Drive financial planning tool performance and continuous improvement together with internal counterparts and external service providers
- Ensure data quality and integrity, including robust data governance and quality control processes
- Maintain and further develop financial planning tool documentation underpinning effective tool usage and knowledge transfer
- Evaluate and implement best-in-class financial planning technologies to upgrade the financial reporting landscape
USER SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION
- Provide expert guidance and support to the finance organization as financial planning tool power user
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner related to financial planning data, interface, tool, and application errors
- Drive financial planning tool adoption, conduct training, and share best practices to maximize utilization
- Safeguard critical financial planning data and processes to mitigate risks and enable accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting
- Support global harmonization and standardization of finance processes, systems, and tools
FINANCIAL PLANNING
- Lead the financial planning processes end-to-end
- Validate financial planning tool inputs and ensure data integrity
- Identify and resolve issues related to financial planning deviations
- Provide insights and recommendations to ensure financial planning consistency
- Monitor key metrics and drive performance improvement
- Support the finance organization with planning submissions
- Develop and maintain financial plans, forecasts, and reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support budget and forecast process execution
More about you:
- University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Around 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on financial planning
- 3-5 years minimum as a financial planning tool power user (e.g., IBM Cognos TM1)
- Expert knowledge of financial planning tools and their configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities
- Ability to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a unified data model, proficiency in data cleaning, transformation, and visualization
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Experience working for an international / multinational / global company
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based financial planning solutions
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Driven, self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Critical thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Knowledge of data mining and machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and their integration with financial planning tools
