Senior Material Planner Finished Goods Analyst

The Senior Material Planner Finished Goods Analyst is an experienced Supply Chain professional, executing replenishment planning, material master data, and fulfilment. They will execute planning methods to optimize inventory levels, freight costs, while maximising Customer Experience. They will liaise with colleagues within Supply Chain and other teams, across multiple sites globally. They will provide functional leadership and guidance to less experienced colleagues, and support in the development of planning methods for different product types and customer types. The Senior Material Planner Finished Goods Analyst will be agile, with a continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for delivering excellence in our Supply Chain.

 


Your Responsibilities:

 

  • To coordinate the MRP process for finished goods inventory, according to the department standard work and Sonova Group guidance, and monitor the placement of purchase orders on suppliers (including initial and final orders) and expediting as necessary.
  • To run the processes required for management of inventory with an Sonova  a third-party logistic service provider (E.g. Discrepancy management, inbound prioritisation, ad hoc stock checks)
  • Frequent monitoring of stock target levels, actual levels and projections to ensure optimum stocks are in place 
  • To liaise with relevant stakeholders regarding order and supply issues and monitor data received from vendors
  • To support ( by information) for product launches and phase outs to ensuring optimised inventory levels at all stages of lifecycle
  • To provide system expertise and be accountable for data integrity in our systems (SAP, SAP/APO, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • To monitor the relevant KPI performance against key performance indicators and take information actions to close deviations from targets (e.g.  inventory turns, stock levels, past due orders, safety stock.)
  • To participate in project and proactive improvement activities as required 
  • Problem identification and implementation of the process improvements, customer satisfaction, cost reduction initiatives according to guidance 
  • To support the daily replenishment business 
  • To support Manager DC Replenishment in daily task.

 


Your profile:

 

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or other relevant field 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain
  • Solid inventory management expertise
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles of inventory planning 
  • Strong independent thinker with excellent organizational and planning skills and focus on improvements
  • Good understanding of working in a global company structure
  • Experience of using SAP and other systems
  • Solid MS Office, especially in Excel
  • English – strong written and verbal communication (C1 European Leve
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible mindset and willingness to quickly address challenges in daily business 
  • Drive and adaptability to ensure that challenging targets are met

Nice to have:

  • Certificates in logistics (APICS) or similar are very nice to have
  • Medical Device Industry experience is a plus
  • BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP APO experience
  • Experience of inventory planning of tender management rather than simple run rate management would be an advantage 
  • Lean management principles, with working knowledge of Kaizen, daily management, problem-solving methodologies
