ServiceNow HRSD System Administrator
Purpose of this role is to play a key role in establishing HRSD practices, supporting HR processes, and ensuring smooth integration with the larger ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with global platform developers who currently support the IT side of ServiceNow, requiring excellent independence and collaboration skills. This role is unique, as it is the first HR-focused ServiceNow position within our organization.
More about the role:
- HRSD Configuration and Development: Customize and develop HRSD workflows, business rules, and interfaces to meet HR service delivery requirements while adhering to best practices.
- System Administration: Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow HRSD platform, including user management, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with IT ServiceNow developers to maintain alignment between HRSD and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules, ensuring consistency and compatibility across the platform.
- Requirements Gathering and Solution Design: Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify needs, gather requirements, and design solutions within the HRSD framework to improve HR service delivery.
- Incident and Problem Resolution: Respond to and resolve issues, ensuring system stability and performance for all HR-related processes.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures; train HR team members as needed to promote system adoption.
- Platform Governance: Ensure HRSD solutions comply with overall ServiceNow governance policies, security standards, and platform best practices.
More about you:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience with ServiceNow, ideally with a focus on HRSD or ITSM modules. Previous experience in an HR service delivery or employee experience environment is an asset.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is very nice to have
- Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and development, including experience with workflows, catalog items, business rules, User Interface policies, and update sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders and explain complex solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to take initiative in process improvements, introducing efficiencies in development and configuration
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently, with strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to take on new challenges.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
