Tax Analyst Expert (Tax Accounting & Reporting)

Sonova Group is composed by legal entities established in 35+ countries. The purpose of this role is to supports Sonova's tax compliance and reporting efforts with a focus on reviewing and analyzing IFRS tax provisions and preparing tax-related financial disclosures. The role also involves ensuring compliance with the global minimum tax rules under the OECD BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 initiative.

 

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Assist in the preparation of tax provisions in accordance with applicable IFRS accounting standards. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams team to gather and analyze financial data necessary for tax reporting.
  • Support the preparation of tax-related disclosures for financial statements and management reports.
  • Support the implementation of global compliance strategies related to the global minimum tax of the OECD Pillar 2 initiative.
  • Monitor and report on global effective tax rate of group companies and ensure alignment with Pillar 2 requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for Pillar 2 compliance, including data collection and reporting processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of new software tools and systems for tax reporting and compliance.

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • University degree in Economics, preferably specialized in Finance and Accounting
  • 2-4 years of experience in tax reporting activities, either in-house or a tax consulting company
  • Basic understanding of IFRS tax accounting principles (IAS 12, IAS 34, IFRIC 23)
  • Basic understanding of international tax regulations
  • Ability to work with mass data / mass data validations, data extraction and transformation 
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills, solution and detail-oriented person
  • Good communication skills
  • Proactive fast learner, willing to learn and develop own capabilities 
  • Self-management attitude, able to work standalone under guidance
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel 
  • Ability to work in and learn other tools (ERPs, consolidation tool, other internal systems, etc.) 
  • English - fluent verbal and written

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of OECD BEPS Pillar 2 rules
  • Experience with Excel macros and VBA programming language
