Hearing Care Specialist - Virtual Care

We're excited to invite expressions of interest for our Hearing Care Specialist position within our innovative Virtual Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, solving operational challenges, and making a real impact on both client experience and business performance. This role is based 5 days a week in the Virtual Care Hub located in Rosedale Auckland. 

About the Role

As a Hearing Care Specialist - Virtual Care, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Virtual Care service. Working closely with clinicians, clinics, Finance, insurers, and external partners, you'll help maximise clinician capacity, support client appointment management, coordinate insurance processes, and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively across teams, and takes pride in delivering efficient, client-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and optimise Virtual Care appointments and clinician diaries.
  • Respond to changing service demands and support clinician scheduling requirements.
  • Manage insurance administration, including claims, quotes, trials, and insurer communications.
  • Support invoice processing and insurance payment reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate Virtual Care stock and web shop product inventory.
  • Assist with business initiatives, process improvements, and operational projects.
  • Help ensure an exceptional experience for clients accessing our Virtual Care services.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong organisational and scheduling skills.
  • A customer-first mindset and commitment to service excellence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Confidence working with systems, data, invoices, and client records.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a demand-driven environment.

Experience in clinic administration, audiology, insurance processes, or Gensolve would be advantageous but is not essential.
