Human Resources Coordinator - Fixed Term Contract

At Triton Hearing, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our collaborative and supportive HR team and play a key role in delivering an outstanding employee experience across New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity to continue to build your skills across operational HR and HR transformational project involvement while supporting our business goals, values and culture. You will gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while partnering with employees, leaders, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and the wider HR team. This is a fixed-term contract until April 2027, with possible extension. 

 

What you'll be doing

As our HR Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person for many of our core people processes and systems. Your days will be varied, fast-paced, and rewarding.

You'll:

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Playing a key role in a transformational HR project as we transition HR operational work to our Shared Service Centre in Singapore 
  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and leaders
  • Manage HR administration, documentation, and employee records
  • Support recruitment activities and hiring processes
  • Prepare people reports and HR metrics
  • Be the go-to for our HRIS and intranet platforms
  • Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and forms
  • Support health, safety, and wellbeing activities across the business
  • Coordinate general office and facilities administration for our Auckland Support Office

 

What we're looking for

You're someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient work.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Strong administration experience and an interest in developing a career in Human Resources
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for solving problems
  • The ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organisation

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Previous HR experience
  • Experience in healthcare, retail, or a multi-site environment
  • Experience using HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
