Audiologist/Audiometrist - National Relief Team

We’re seeking experienced Audiologists and Audiometrists to join our National Relief Team. In this flexible casual role, you’ll support our clinic network across Neurosensory and/or Connect Hearing by providing high‑quality leave coverage and continuity of care across multiple locations depending on your availability.

What will you be doing?
- Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests
- Recommending solutions to those with hearing impairment including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions and assistive listening devices and providing aural rehabilitation programs
- Providing counselling, advice and information to clients and families as a part of overall treatment
- Assisting with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies
- Providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease
- Maintaining accurate documentation in line with with Medicare, HSP and DVA requirements and making referrals to medical practitioners
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
- Full membership of AudA or ACAud inc. HAASA and current QP number
- Solid audiological skills and knowledge
- Experience with diagnostic vestibular assessments and/or cochlear implant assessment and programming highly regarded
- Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience
- Ability to learn and understand new software with training
- Proven ability to achieve KPI's
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good team working skills
