Senior Manager Talent Acquisition EMEALA
The Regional Talent Acquisition Delivery Lead is a critical role that is accountable for driving and overseeing all hiring efforts across EMEA & Latam for all Sonova businesses in the region.
The role will be key to building the Talent Acquisition regional strategy to deliver regional growth ambition, connecting market/country-based recruiters, regional teams, and developing team members to excel through the full recruitment life cycle (intake, sourcing, interviewing, offer management).
In close collaboration with the VP HR EMEA & Latam, local & regional Business Leaders, TA teams in countries and TA CoE, the role will be in charge of evolving talent acquisition practices, elevating process with technology and candidate experience approach, strongly connected to local markets and challenges, by translating enterprise-wide strategy to local and regional specific needs, ultimately acting as a role-model in the TA community and trusted partner of the business leaders.
The role will lead a small regional talent acquisition team to support regional demands and functionally guide local Talent Acquisition teams located in main markets.
More about the role:
- Work closely with the newly established HR and Business leadership team in EMEA & Latam to understand and manage critical hiring needs locally and across various geographies
- Oversees all recruitment activity across Sonova’s EMEA & Latam, supporting TA market teams to deliver the best service in line with business expectations, balancing workload allocation, leveraging regional teams, sourcing and delivery against a range of requirements across all functions
- Support the adaptation of talent acquisition-related technology enhancements and processes designed by the CoE, including drive toward purposeful use of data and analytics to ensure sustainable and healthy performance (KPIs), cascading it to TA teams in countries.
- Foster close collaboration with local and regional HR teams within the assigned geography, ensuring that all recruitment touchpoints are upskilled and equipped as required to support TA activity
- Act as a first-level escalation point for key Regional and Cluster HR or Business stakeholders
- Cascade and achieve performance objectives defined by the CoEs for recruitment delivery in EMEA & Latam central team, as well as deployment in markets with dedicated TA teams, ensuring appropriate alignment with performance/quality standards defined in relevant SLAs
- Coach or mentor colleagues and team members according to individual development plans
- Ensure the recruitment process is compliant with Sonova`s philosophy and policies, as well as the local government regulations in the talent acquisition space
- Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback on overall service levels and work with the TA CoE to provide recommendations to team members and leaders on improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with the CoE to optimize recruitment efforts in countries and in the region to achieve an excellent customer experience
- Regularly monitor market trends and ensure roll-up of local and regional insights to support ongoing iteration of TA strategies across EMEA & Latin America
More about you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in recruitment (E2E) with a strong focus on active candidate identification, engagement, and assessing top talent.
- Expertise to build, coach, and mentor high-functioning delivery teams on a regional level from scratch, in a matrix organization.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Relationship Management tools, such as SAP and Phenom.
- Affinity to apply AI and identify potential use-cases to gain efficiency and enhance customer experience.
- Previous experience in managing regional growth projects across various countries in EMEA and/or Latam.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to tailor messages to various stakeholder groups and seniorities up to ExCo level.
- Trusted advisor who has proven experience in positively influencing and challenging senior leaders with high confidence and empathy.
