This is more than a reception or administration position.
You'll be the welcoming face of our clinic and play a vital role in supporting clients throughout their hearing journey. From scheduling appointments and assisting with hearing aid care, to helping clients feel comfortable and supported, your work will have a meaningful impact every single day.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with Audiologists, support Tele-Audiology appointments, engage with clients, and contribute to the success of a busy clinic environment.
This role is based in our Bethlehem clinic, 5 days per week Monday - Friday.
What you'll be doing
- Being the first point of contact for clients and visitors
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships
- Managing clinic diaries to ensure efficient appointment scheduling
- Supporting clients with hearing aid maintenance and repairs
- Processing funding applications, ACC claims, invoicing, and maintaining accurate client records
- Assisting with Tele-Audiology consultations and technology support
- Making outbound calls to support clinic appointment bookings
- Identifying opportunities to improve clinic processes and client experience
- Maintaining a welcoming, professional, and well-presented clinic environment.
- Community engagement: Participate in local marketing initiatives to promote our services.
About you
You don't need previous hearing healthcare experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and customer mindset.
You'll bring:
- You'll offer a calm, professional manner and have a genuine desire to help people, offering exceptional service and care to every client.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life - comfortable communicating with the general public, handling walk-ins with confidence while being able to prioritise tasks as they arise.
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills and technology. You're eager to develop your knowledge in Audiology, with the desire to train as a Tele Assistant.
- You are confident in working autonomously and thrive in a team environment, adapting easily to different clinic settings and team dynamics.
- You possess a high level of general computer literacy, enabling you to efficiently manage various administrative tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
