Account Manager
The Account Manager will focus on cultivating new business within the region, managing his / her time effectively by focusing on the right accounts in their region and collaborate and coordinate effectively with internal partners to ensure optimal resource deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow the assigned territory by executing strategic sales plans, achieving sales quotas, maintaining existing business, acquiring new customers, promoting new products, and consistently meeting activity, funnel, and financial performance targets.
- Conduct regular sales calls, identify customer needs, recommend tailored product solutions, negotiate pricing, and provide marketing recommendations that support customer business growth and increased demand for Phonak products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers by delivering product demonstrations, onboarding new accounts, providing group and individual product training, and ensuring exceptional customer support and satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Directors, Regional Key Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Customer Trainers, Inside Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to maximize territory performance, coordinate key account initiatives, transition new accounts, and support complex customer needs.
- Deliver comprehensive clinical and product training, including hearing aid fitting, fine-tuning of products and software, troubleshooting difficult fittings, and coordinating trainer deployment to optimize customer outcomes.
- Represent Phonak at national and regional meetings while serving as a trusted business partner to customers and supporting territory growth through professional engagement and relationship management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions in Salesforce/CRM, complete timely expense reporting in Concur, comply with all company policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Travelling Requirement: Travel up to 75%, candidate must reside in assigned territory.
More about you:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Au.D. preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hearing instrument (HI) technology and industry practices, with previous experience independently supporting patients; experience in the hearing healthcare industry and/or business consulting is preferred.
- Action-oriented, results-driven professional with strong initiative, accountability, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to drive change while remaining curious, courageous, and focused on long-term success.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while applying technical expertise to support customer and business needs in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient knowledge of hearing instrument technology and industry best practices, with experience fitting Phonak hearing technology considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications to effectively manage customer relationships, reporting, and business activities.
- Excellent organizational and professional skills with the ability to develop talent, take ownership of responsibilities, and consistently deliver high-quality customer support and business results.
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $100,000/yr - $125,000/yr. This role is also commission eligible.
