Business Development Executive - Dublin

If you're someone who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and making things happen, this could be the role you've been looking for.

At Boots Hearingcare, we're on a mission to help more people access life-changing hearing care. To do that, we need commercially minded, relationship-focused people who can get out into local communities, build meaningful partnerships, and create demand where it matters most.

This isn't a desk-based sales role.

It's an opportunity to become the face of Boots Hearingcare across your territory, developing relationships with healthcare professionals, community organisations, local businesses, Boots Pharmacy teams, and key stakeholders to drive awareness, referrals, and customer engagement.

Backed by the scale, reputation, and investment of Boots Hearingcare and Sonova, you'll have the autonomy to shape your territory, influence local growth, and make a visible impact on business performance.

The opportunity

You'll take ownership of a designated region across Ireland, identifying opportunities to increase awareness of hearing health and ensuring more people are connected with the support they need.

No two days will be the same.

One day you could be delivering a hearing health awareness event within the community. The next, building referral partnerships with healthcare providers, working alongside Boots Pharmacy teams, or supporting the launch of a new location.

Success in this role comes from building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning local engagement into measurable business growth.

The role

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be:

  • Building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, community groups, charities, and local organisations
  • Working closely with Boots Pharmacy teams to maximise local referral opportunities
  • Delivering community engagement initiatives, events, and awareness campaigns
  • Driving hearing assessment bookings and increasing clinic footfall
  • Identifying opportunities to grow brand awareness across your territory
  • Supporting local marketing, media activity, and new clinic launches
  • Monitoring local market activity and competitor trends
  • Tracking performance and demonstrating the impact of your activity

What’s in it for you

  • Salary:£40,000.00
  • Monthly bonus scheme
  • 25–30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Boots Discount Card
  • Free hearing aids (if required as an employee)
  • Free flu vaccination (discounted for family members)
  • Pension scheme & life assurance
  • Flexible Benefits Box – tailor your package
  • Telus wellbeing support – confidential support inside and outside work
  • Long service awards recognising your contribution

What we’re looking for

We're less interested in industry background and more interested in mindset.

You'll likely have experience in business development, field sales, healthcare promotion, retail operations, community engagement, or a similar relationship-led commercial role.

You'll be:

  • A natural relationship builder
  • Confident engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Commercially minded and results focused
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
  • Organised, proactive, and highly driven
  • Passionate about making a difference within local communities
  • Healthcare, pharmacy, or retail experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

A full Irish driving licence is essential, as regular travel across your territory will be required.

We care. We drive innovation. We strive for excellence. We build the best team.
