Shipping Clerk  

Phonak Canada, a division of Sonova Canada Inc., is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support the fulfillment of non-custom hearing instrument orders and assist the Logistics Department in ensuring orders and inventory are processed accurately and on time. This role is responsible for picking, packing, invoicing, shipping support, inventory activities, and quality control functions while following company procedures and safety standards.

 

Responsibilities:

• Pick products to be shipped according to pick lists
• Pack products according to company requirements
• Invoice and spool orders, including bagging shipments
• Process offline labels from Transtream
• Pick and distribute service parts for the Service department
• Put stock away, replenish stock locations, and assist with inbound putaways
• Support cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and shipping supply monitoring
• Perform quality control functions in accordance with ISO Quality Policy standards
• Process work orders, including housing changes and SOCV/in-house customs logistics functions
• Follow all safety, ESD, workplace cleanliness, and company policy requirements

 

More about you:

• Entry-level candidates are welcome; no previous experience required
• Previous warehouse or shipping experience is considered an asset
• Elementary education or equivalent required; secondary education preferred
• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow work instructions precisely
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills required; SAP knowledge preferred
• Ability to communicate in English; professional working proficiency in English preferred
• Able to use a ladder, stand for most of the day, and lift boxes up to 20 lbs
• Ability to identify inconsistencies in shipments is considered an asset

This role's pay range is between: $17.60 – 20.00 hourly
