Manufacturing System & Software Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Murten, Switzerland (hybrid)
 
This role combines software development, automation, and hands-on engineering in an international manufacturing environment. As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will develop equipment, test systems and software used to manufacture and test innovative hearing, communication and consumer products worldwide.
 
Your responsibilities
 
  • Develop manufacturing and test equipment for new products, covering hardware, software and system integration
  • Create test and configuration sequences using LabVIEW
  • Develop software interfaces for measurement equipment
  • Integrate electronic, mechanical and software components into complete manufacturing systems
  • Validate and qualify equipment before installation at production sites
  • Maintain and modernize existing manufacturing equipment
  • Provide second-level support to global production teams, both remotely and occasionally on site
 
Your profile
 
  • At least bachelor’s degree in industrial systems, automation or a related engineering discipline
  • Around 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally involving electronic devices, embedded software or automated manufacturing systems
  • Strong LabVIEW programming experience
  • Knowledge of industrial systems and measurement equipment
  • Experience with PLC automation
  • Fluent English, strong communication skills and confidence working with different cultures and stakeholder groups
  • Structured, solution-oriented approach and the ability to manage unexpected technical challenges
