At Advanced Bionics, we're committed to helping people reconnect with the world through innovative hearing technology. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Business Development to lead market development initiatives, expand business opportunities, and drive growth across North America.

In this leadership role, you'll partner closely with Regional Sales teams, Marketing, and Sonova brands including Phonak and AudioNova to develop and execute strategies that strengthen customer relationships, expand market presence, and support long-term business success. You'll also lead and develop a team focused on delivering meaningful business growth through education, engagement, and value-added programs.

What You'll Do

Drive Business Growth & Market Development

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and capitalize on market growth opportunities
  • Lead initiatives focused on expanding customer engagement and increasing market penetration
  • Partner with regional sales and marketing teams to implement targeted healthcare professional (HCP) education programs
  • Collaborate with Sonova partner brands to develop and execute market development strategies
  • Identify and implement best practices that enhance partner programs and deliver measurable value

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Manage, coach, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to drive performance and professional growth
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and results
  • Make staffing decisions related to hiring, performance management, and team development

Strengthen Customer & Partner Relationships

  • Engage directly with healthcare professionals and coach team members on effective customer interactions
  • Drive adoption of funnel management best practices to support business growth opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to maximize market impact
  • Influence stakeholders and support change initiatives that advance strategic goals

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and growth
  • Develop forecasting processes and performance objectives for the department
  • Monitor business performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HR practices
  • Oversee employee engagement, performance reviews, development planning, and payroll approvals
  • Champion continuous process improvement initiatives across the organization

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • Degree in Audiology, Business, or a related field

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare, or the medical device industry
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience leading and managing remote teams
  • Hearing healthcare or hearing industry experience preferred

This role's pay range is between: $91,200 – $130,000. This role is also commission eligible. Compensation packages are based on skills, experience, and geographic location.
